Sticky Fruit & Nut Loaf


vegan sticky fruit and nut loaf 


  • 3 very ripe bananas (mash bananas until they are almost liquid)
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 50g vegan margarine
  • 210g self raising flour
  • 30g walnuts
  • 50g chopped dates / raisins / prunes



  1. Cream together sugar and margarine then mix in rest of ingredients until just combined;
  2. Pour into a greased bread tin;
  3. Bake for 45 – 50 mins at 170 degrees.
