Portsmouth born but spent first 10 years of life in Scotland, did Go Tri in April and first proper Tri was Bognor (today!), recently separated so just me, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs at home, outside of tri I walk dogs, love live music and read a lot

  1. When did you do your first multi-sport event and what/where was it?  Chichester Go Tri this April 
  2. Tell us about your triathlon experience to date? Just the one…Bognor Sprint Sea Tri today  What are your major accomplishments? – overcoming a panic attack in the water and making it around the swim course in one piece!!
  3. What are your target races for the next couple of seasons? Anything with a pool swim!
  4. Describe your favourite workout? I love Barre classes – great music and superb leg strength and conditioning
  5. What’s the worst triathlon advise someone ever gave you? You’ll love the sea swim at Bognor!
  6. What has been your greatest race experience until today? I loved the QECP 5 Mile cross country race in June this year
  7. Any pre-race rituals? Not been racing long enough to develop a ritual really
  8. What’s your favourite discipline in triathlon and your favourite race distance? Running seems to be emerging as my favourite and 10k seems to be comfortable
  9. What advice would you offer to members wanting to improve at triathlon?Keep plodding away and make the most of all the experience in the club
  10. Any favourite post-race /training indulgence? Earl grey tea and chocolate
